Every Sunday morning, my weekly volume backups run. This has been a source of pain ever since I switched to Piraeus as it sometimes left nodes tainted and accumulated orphaned volumes. Last week I wrote how I'll fix this by migrating storage provider yet again but instead I just updated the Piraeus operator to the latest version last week. And so far, things are looking better? I don't see any new orphaned volumes, Pods and volumes look healthy and most importantly, no node has been tainted!
I guess I don't need to migrate after all 😅
Earthborne rangers is a game I wanted to play ever since it came out in 2024. I had a watchdog on it in the local Craigslist equivalent and usually it is gone in minutes. This week however I was the fastest one and got it including all expansions! I read through all the rules by now and am very excited to try it out!
Physically, I'm super exhausted. My in-laws acquired a new piece of land that was heavily neglected by the previous owner and had bamboo spread all over it. They did a first pass over it with heavy machinery but there is still a lot of bamboo to be cleared. We helped them out yesterday morning and in the evening it was the first session of our winter parkour gym. It was a great session, especially since my wife's shoulder is mostly recovered by now. Now I feel every muscle in my body and I'm happy :)
